Michelle E. Read, LMT is the proud owner of Good Medicine Massage. She has been practicing massage therapy full time since 2000 when she graduated from East-West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Neuromuscular, sports massage, pre-natal and Swedish massage techniques. She is currently studying Biodynamic Massage and Cranial Therapy with Todd Jackson. She has also studied Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy with Eric Dalton, Orthopedic Massage with Whitney Lowe and Trigger Point Therapy with Laurie Connolly and Brandon Ellis. She has experience working closely with chiropractors, medical doctors and naturopaths in treating injuries and chronic pain issues. She is currently an instructor of Swedish Massage in the Amma program at The Wellspring School. She is a member of the Associated Bodywork Massage Professionals organization. She is certified in first aid and CPR.
Michelle’s work is deeply intuitive, catering each session to the needs of the individual client. Her massages are therapeutic, effective and deeply relaxing. Michelle loves the outdoors and enjoys skiing on Mt. Hood, whitewater rafting, backpacking and walking her hound dog in the beautiful Portland parks.
